Videos uploaded to Reddit are stored with the picture and the sound in separate files, which is why many tools save them without audio. SnapVideoDL's Reddit video downloader joins both parts on our server and gives you one MP4 file with sound.
Paste the link of any public Reddit post that has a video uploaded to Reddit (v.redd.it). If the post only links to YouTube or another site, open that link and use the matching tool, for example our YouTube downloader.

Frequently asked questions
How do I download a video from Reddit?
Copy the post link with the Share button, paste it into the box on this page and click the globe. Choose a quality and press Download Now to save the video as MP4 with sound.
Why do other tools give Reddit videos without sound?
Reddit keeps the audio in a separate file. SnapVideoDL downloads both parts and joins them, so your MP4 has sound.
Can I download Reddit GIFs?
Most GIFs uploaded to Reddit are short videos. Paste the post link and you get them as MP4.
Why does a post not work?
The post may be removed, in a private or quarantined community, marked 18+, or it links to another site instead of a Reddit-hosted video.
Is it allowed to download Reddit videos?
Saving videos for personal viewing is common. Do not re-upload other people's videos as your own; ask the creator first.
