Facebook lets you watch Reels, but not keep them. SnapVideoDL's Facebook Reels downloader saves any public reel to your phone or computer as an MP4 file. Copy the reel link, paste it here, click the globe and download. No app and no Facebook login needed.
It works with facebook.com/reel/ links, fb.watch links and the share links you copy from the Facebook app. You can also keep only the sound as MP3. For normal Facebook videos, use our Facebook video downloader.
Why SnapVideoDL?
Any public reel
Save reels from pages, creators and public profiles. Reels shared only with friends or in private groups cannot be reached.
Share links work
Paste a facebook.com/reel/ link, an fb.watch link or a facebook.com/share/r/ link from the app. We find the reel behind it.
MP4 or MP3
Download the reel as MP4 video, or open the Audio Only tab to save the sound.
No app, no login
Works in your browser. We never ask for your Facebook account and keep no download history.

Frequently asked questions
How do I download a Facebook reel?
Tap Share under the reel, choose Copy link, paste the link into the box on this page and click the globe. Then press Download Now to save the reel as MP4.
Why does a reel not load?
Usually the reel is not public: it is shared only with friends, in a private group, or it was deleted. Only public reels can be downloaded.
What quality will I get?
You get the best version Facebook makes available for that reel. Facebook does not always say the exact resolution, so the option may show as Best available.
Can I save only the sound of a reel?
Yes. After clicking the globe, open the Audio Only tab and download the sound as an MP3 file.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes, in Safari. The video goes to the Files app. To move it to Photos, open it, tap Share and choose Save Video.
Can I repost downloaded reels?
Only repost reels you made or have permission to use. Re-uploading other people's reels without permission can break copyright and Facebook's rules.
