SnapVideoDL (snapvideodl.com) tries to handle as little data as possible. There is no sign-up, so we never have your name, email address or a password.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not create user accounts or profiles.
• We do not keep a history of the videos you download or convert.
• We do not ask for access to your YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or X accounts.

Information Processed Automatically

• IP address: used to limit the number of downloads per hour and prevent abuse. It is stored in hashed (scrambled) form together with the time of each request, and deleted within 24 hours at most.
• Server logs: our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser and page visited, for security purposes. If a download fails, the link may be noted in an error log so we can fix the problem.
• Temporary files: the video or audio you download is created on our server and deleted automatically after it is sent to you, and in any case within one hour.

Cookies and Local Storage

We store your theme preference (light or dark) in your own browser. We currently use no advertising or third-party analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Third Parties

To fetch a video, our server connects to the source website (for example, YouTube). We do not sell or share personal information with anyone.

Children's Privacy

SnapVideoDL is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
