Stories disappear after 24 hours, and Instagram has no button to save someone else's story. The SnapVideoDL Instagram story viewer shows the current stories of any public account — photos and videos — and lets you download each one. You do not need an Instagram account, and you never log in here.
Type the username (for example natgeo) or paste a profile or story link. Stories are loaded through SnapVideoDL's own Instagram account, so if the owner checks their viewer list they may see our account, not yours. Private accounts are never shown, and highlights are not supported yet.

Frequently asked questions
Will the person know I viewed their story?
Your own Instagram account is never used, so your name does not appear. The story is loaded through SnapVideoDL's account, which the owner may see in their viewer list.
Can I see stories from a private account?
No. We only show stories from public accounts, and we do not help anyone get around privacy settings.
Why does it say there are no stories?
Stories last 24 hours. If the account has not posted one in the last day, there is nothing to show. Some accounts also limit their stories to close friends.
Can I download highlights?
Not yet. The viewer shows the stories that are live right now.
Can I repost stories I download?
Only with the owner's permission. Stories are the owner's content; keep downloads for your own use.
