How to download TikTok audio as an MP3
You hear a sound on TikTok and you want to keep it. Maybe it is a teacher explaining a math trick. Maybe it is a recipe you want to listen to while you cook. TikTok does not give you a button to save only the sound. So people search for a TikTok audio downloader.
This guide shows you how to download TikTok audio as an MP3 file. It works on an Android phone, an iPhone and a computer. You do not need to install an app, and you do not need a TikTok account.
What is an MP3, and why use it?
An MP3 is a sound file. It has no picture, only audio. Almost every device can play it: phones, laptops, tablets and car radios.
A TikTok video has two parts: the picture and the sound. When you turn TikTok to MP3, you keep the sound and leave the picture behind. The file is much smaller than the video, so it saves space on your phone.

Step 1: Copy the link of the TikTok video
Open the TikTok app and find the video with the sound you like. Tap the Share arrow on the right side. Then tap Copy link. The link is now saved on your phone.
On a computer, open the video on tiktok.com and copy the address from the bar at the top of your browser.
The link can look like tiktok.com/@name/video/123... or like a short link such as vm.tiktok.com/abc.... Both kinds work.
Step 2: Open the TikTok MP3 tool
Go to our TikTok audio downloader. You will see a box at the top of the page. Paste your link into that box.

TikTok stores its audio at about 128 kbps. So picking 320 kbps will not make the sound better than the original, it only makes the file bigger. That is why 192 kbps is a smart pick.

Where to find the file
- Android: open the Files or My Files app and look in the Download folder.
- iPhone: open the Files app, then On My iPhone, then Downloads.
- Computer: check your Downloads folder.
Can I download only a TikTok sound, without a video?
Every sound on TikTok comes from a video. If you open a sound page in TikTok, you will see many videos that use it. Pick any public video from that list, copy its link, and follow the steps above. You will get the same sound.
Inside the TikTok app you can also tap a sound and choose Add to Favorites. That keeps the sound in your TikTok account so you can use it in your own videos. It does not give you a file on your phone, though. For a real MP3 file, you need a tool like ours.
Does the MP3 have a TikTok watermark?
No. A watermark is the little TikTok logo that moves around on a video. It is part of the picture. An MP3 has no picture, so there is nothing to mark. We do not add anything to your file either.

Why is my TikTok link not working?
Most of the time, one of these is the reason:
- The account is private. Only public videos can be downloaded.
- The video was deleted, or the owner turned it into a private video.
- The link was copied wrong. Copy it again from the Share menu and try once more.
- The video is a live stream that is still going on. Live videos cannot be saved while they are live.
